What is PCP WISE? The PCP WISE project is all about pushing the boundaries of water management innovations to build climate resilience across Europe. Funded through the PCP instrument, this initiative enables public sector buyers to access cutting-edge R&D solutions reaching up to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 8. Key activities and expected outcomes: • Development of interoperable water intelligence tools to address pressing challenges such as flooding, droughts, and soil erosion, subsidence both in rural and urban settings; • Collaboration between public stakeholders and R&D providers to design, prototype, and field-test solutions in real-world environments; and • A focus on supporting regional water management authorities, cities, and crisis response teams to better anticipate and mitigate climate-related water crises across the EU.
