The association, founded in 2000 as the Italian section of PDA, and now also operates in the Canton Ticino (Switzerland), has as its main objective the creation of a forum for the exchange of technical information between professionals working in the pharmaceutical field: production, quality and regulatory. The activities of PDAs ranging from the organization of national and international conferences to the creation of interest groups for specific topics of common interest. Moreover, the Italian section of PDA is active in distributing and collecting documents guide commenting prior to issue and to create formal and informal forum for consultation with the Italian authorities to discuss matters of mutual interest
