The project is financed by the Government of Angola and by a loan from the African Development Bank. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation is the executing agency. The project’s goal is to contribute to economic diversification through scientific and technological innovation. Specifically, this involves: (i) supporting the implementation of scientific and technological research activities in priority areas to diversify the economy (agribusiness, biotechnology and health, energy, information and communication technologies, etc.); and (ii) creating an environment conducive to the development of science, technology and innovation.
