My mission is to help young professional civil engineers transition from school to work, engage with their work, understand the greater meaning, pass their licensing exams, and find value outside their careers.
I know that being a new engineer can be difficult—and it’s even harder when you feel like no one else understands what it’s like or how hard it is for you. Heck, maybe you just need someone to say “It’s ok you don’t know that, everyone had to learn that on the job.”
That’s why I started PE4Free! I want you to know that there are people who will listen and understand what you’re going through. I want you to know that there are people who can help you figure out how to make your workplace better or just define what a good work environment is!
I know that not every engineer has an easy time of it—I sure wouldn’t go back to my first years after school… But, we’ve all felt confused, overworked, underappreciated, and like an imposter at one point or another.
Here though, I ask the hard questions to those that know some of the answers so you can grow in confidence, assurance, esteem, excitement, and passion for what makes you, you!
