White Rock - Peace Arch Rotary Club

We meet on Mondays at 12:00 PM at the Hazelmere Golf & Country Club Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto “Service above Self.” Members of the Peace Arch Rotary Club live and work in the South Surrey/White Rock area and are proud to serve. The Club has had a significant impact on our community, providing financial support as well as hands-on assistance. Contributions include:  Wheelhouse Theatre at Earl Marriott Secondary  Band and Culinary Arts Programs, Semiahmoo Secondary School  “Feed the Needy” Program, Tamanawis Secondary School  Centennial Clock at the pier on White Rock Beach  Children’s playground at South Surrey Athletic Park  Working Garden at HT Thrift Elementary School  Friends of Semiahmoo Bay Society  South Surrey Athletic Park Premier Running Track  South Surrey Athletic Park Fitness Park (under construction)  Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 5, Crescent Beach, rescue boat and equipment  White Rock/South Surrey Food Bank, Rotary Save-On-Foods Gift Card Program  Peace Arch Hospice Society  Wheelchair Accessible Playground at Redwood Park  Scholarships, Tamanawis Secondary School
