Founded in 1998, Peace4Kids is a private, 501(c)(3) non‐ profit organization that provides programs and services for youth in foster care from ages 4-24. Peace4Kids is on the front lines in addressing the needs of youth in the South Los Angeles neighborhoods of Watts, Willowbrook and Compton. Hailed by the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services as a creative intervention that supports permanency and solid foster care placements, Peace4Kids is unique in that it organically creates a sense of community among the youth who participate, dozens of committed adults who volunteer, and community leaders who engage in our programs.
