Peacebuilding Initiative

The Peacebuilding Initiative (PBI) is a student-led organization that promotes youth participation in peacebuilding efforts and discussions. Founded in 2019 at the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), the organization now has over 100 members and a board of 22 who work together to achieve this goal. We hope to create a world where the collective efforts of youth and young professionals from diverse backgrounds lead to sustainable peace and harmony by actively and effectively supporting peacebuilding initiatives worldwide. Through collaboration, dialogue, and inclusive participation, we seek to foster a peacebuilding community that promotes understanding, tolerance, and empathy.
