Peaceful Alternatives Counseling & Therapy LLC was founded in 2011 by Coralyn Milton-Terry, LPC-S, NCC. As a young girl growing up, Coralyn’s dream was to be a counselor and help people. Realizing that dream turned into an ambition to form a counseling agency that would model caring professionalism in diligently providing quality mental and behavioral health services to help transform lives and positively affect the communities where we live and serve. Today, Peaceful Alternatives Counseling & Therapy has grown as a unified team of caring professionals striving every day to uphold our founding principles and spread Coralyn’s dream through every person we are blessed to serve and help throughout the Shreveport, Bossier and Natchitoches and surrounding areas. The peaceful Alternatives Family is here for you when you need us, waiting with the desire to help you navigate and find peace and positive mental and behavioral transformation. To keep all who seek us for help safe, all services are provided virtually via telehealth platform.
We accept various insurances, including UnitedHealthcare of Louisiana, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, Healthy Blue of Louisiana. We also accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, as well as cash payments on a sliding fee scale.
