About PEACE H2 project
Pressurized Efficient Alkaline Electrolyser (PEACE) is a research and innovation project funded under the EU Horizon Europe programme by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. The PEACE project is being carried out by seven partners under the coordination of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR). The PEACE project focuses on developing high-pressure alkaline electrolysis technology to substantially reduce hydrogen production costs, aiming to achieve costs below 3 €/kg to enhance the competitiveness of the hydrogen economy. Furthermore, the project aims to enhance the integration of the hydrogen production with its subsequent utilisation within the chemical industry. Such an integration reduces costs and save energy by at least 8%. PEACE will also conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) to quantify the environmental impacts of its innovative technology. The PEACE project is supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and its members. Co-funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are those of the project consortium and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or Clean Hydrogen Partnership. Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
