PEACE XLRI

We are People for Environmental Awareness & Conservation of Ecosystems. We aim to build responsible business leaders by imbibing sustainability. PEACE works under the guidance of Fr Arrupe Center for Ecology & Sustainability(FACES). FACES is a multidisciplinary center at XLRI which focuses on policies and practices that promote sustainable development in the society & the institute. We profile our actions into Awareness, Action & Impact Assessment. We are working on awareness & sensitization towards sustainability through quizzes, articles, campaigns & much more. We are aiming to educate students of XLRI aware of global climate protocols in business context. We are working on an action plan for better waste segregation & utilization of byproducts on campus. Measure the impact of interventions by the Institute to achieve the goal of Carbon Neutral & Water Positive Campus. We measure the impact created by the interventions & Batch Sustainability Index to help the institute identify blind spots in order to develop responsible leaders of tomorrow. Driving the processes & events at XLRI towards sustainability by auditing & reporting the impacts.
