PEAR Lab

The PEAR lab is an interdisciplinary research network hub that focuses on understanding how rehabilitation, digital, and healthcare technologies used in community and healthcare settings can foster healthy aging and ultimately, the wellbeing of older adults and their caregivers. PEAR Lab researchers and collaborators come from a wide array of disciplines including but not limited to engineering, computer science, health and rehabilitation sciences, and systems design. Our vision: A world in which research and technology support and enhance healthy aging. Our mission: To foster an inclusive ecosystem of research, education, knowledge dissemination, outreach and collaboration on validation, implementation and adoption of rehabilitation, digital and healthcare technologies.
