Pearl Edu Vision

PEARL Edu Vision is a registered Public Benefit Organisation established in 2009 by DinaoLerutla, with a vision to make a sustainable and positive contribution to education development in under-developed in rural and peri-urban areas. PEARL Edu Vision launched a programme titled Innovation in Teachers Development in its first year of operations. The programme seeks to empower teachers to lead the transformation of school cultures towards schools becoming centres of excellence. Although children are at the heart of schools and the education system, teachers are its lifeblood. It is PEARL Edu Vision's belief that transformation of schools will be sustainable if it's supported, owned, and led by teachers. Innovation in Teacher Development not only recognises the efforts made by teachers but aims to help teachers enhance their knowledge and exposure, improve their competence and raise their commitment towards what could be considered as the most vital profession in society – Teaching. These goals are achieved through a combination of activities that incorporate school culture dialogues, curriculum support, and leadership development. Although PEARL Edu Vision's main focus remains that of teachers' empowerment, the organisation in collaboration with AMSCED, also contributes to the advancement of other areas of education, which includes Annual Sekhukune Career Expo, and Maths & Science extra lessons managed by Kutlwanong.
