Mission
The mission of the Pediatric Clinical Decision Support Collaborative (PCC) is to improve the health of children through improvement in the science of clinical decision support (CDS). PCC includes a network of clinical informaticians working together to evaluate and improve clinical decision support in pediatric care settings. By bringing together expertise and data from multiple institutions, we strive to reduce variation and promote best practices for pediatric CDS. Our goal is to empower clinicians with the knowledge and tools they need to make better decisions for the children in their care at the right time and right place without imparting undue burden. Together, we are working towards a future where CDS is consistent, dependable, actionable, streamlined and an essential part of the electronic health record that leads to improved outcomes for children throughout the healthcare system.
