Gerakan Peduli Sekitar

Gerakan Peduli Sekitar is a non-profit youth social movement community. We focus on facilitating fellow youths with similar interest in being proactive to serve the basic needs of the underprivileged, encouraging them further into volunteerism with biweekly and eventual projects. We are working on projects related to the fulfilment of nutrition, especially child malnutrition. One of the important projects is called “Aku Sehat” where we work closely with an Integrated Healthcare Center in Kejawan Putih Tambak, Surabaya, striving to overcome the problem of child malnutrition in local community. During a 2-year program, we’ve assisted 5 toddlers from poor family to reach healthy nutritional status. Until now, we have facilitated more than 150 volunteers and collaborated with more than 50 communities and organizations such as Kitabisacom, Telkomsel Loop Station and Ruang Pasien.
