Wirral Waters

Wirral Waters is the largest regeneration project in the UK by consented floor area. The vision consented by Wirral Council is for a highly sustainable and healthier, mixed use, mixed income project that is ‘of Wirral’ providing a counterpoint to Liverpool. The project forms part of the Mersey Waters Enterprise Zone (EZ) and Wirral Housing Zone. Following the Liverpool City Region being awarded Freeport status in 2021, the MEA Park neighbourhood and Northside area of Wirral Waters will also become a Freeport Tax Site.
