As co-founder and CTO, Dishaw didn’t just build a product—he redefined an industry, forcing entrenched, 20+ year-old companies and billion-dollar giants like Axon to scramble and pivot toward a future he had already engineered. Apex Officer quickly dominated the market and set a new benchmark for immersive training. But as corporate decisions began to dilute the vision and stall progress, Dishaw and his original team made a bold choice: walk away from comfort and control of the market to build something better.
