Pegas Engineering has been a tooling supplier to the automotive sector for over 20 years, serving foundries in Europe, USA, and Mexico. In addition to production, we have the know-how and equally long experience in technology development. We manufacture parts based on provided 3D or 2D documentation or create it ourselves based on received parts. For foundries dealing with brake systems, we are able to design and manufacture, among other things: -new tooling for the production of casting cores, the so-called Cold Box, -any modifications to Cold Box tools, from changing markings to shape modifications or even adaptations to different types of production machines, -new model assemblies made of steel and aluminum, both for discs and calipers, as well as caliper housings. Metal sets designed for mass production (for machine molding, mainly for the HANSBERG type), -various modifications to model assemblies, from changing markings to shape modifications (adding or removing material), -modifications and regeneration of core shooter bodies, -new gripper assemblies for removing cores from core shooters during production, -grading plates for brake disc cores, -any spare parts: gas sleeves, shot sleeves, centering pins, centering bushings, etc. Our experience and specialized machine park often contribute to cost savings for our clients.
