PEI Mutual Insurance Company is part of our Island community. Our head office with over 40 employees is located in Summerside, our 17 agents live throughout the Island and make house calls to explain our policies. Our Board of Directors is elected from 9 zones across PEI and is responsible for corporate policy. We also have our in-house safety advisor who makes house calls to ensure the safety of your homes and businesses!
Our locally produced policies (residential, farm, fishing boats, commercial) are competitively priced and policyholders enjoy mutual rebates whenever profits warrant. Our claims are all processed locally as we are the only island-owned insurance company in PEI.
We support many local charities, including our local hospitals, Special Olympics PEI, Festival of Small Halls, Sport PEI, PEISAA, United Way of PEI, Provincial Games and many more local impactful organizations. Through our PEI Mutual Educational Trust we provide twenty $1,000 scholarships annually to Island students.
Craig Noonan, our CEO, & Rudy Smith, our CFO, make up the executive team and guide the organization towards its objectives.
