We work with event coordinators around Penn’s campus to collect flower arrangements in the community that would normally go to waste and instead repurpose and distribute them to hospital patients. We are also hoping to expand our initiatives beyond just simply distributing the flowers!
Through arranging and delivering bouquets to patients, we hope to provide:
- Joy and hope to patients
- An opportunity for students to meaningfully connect with patients
- A form of de-stressing for volunteers
- A means of increasing sustainability in our community
