Penn Mock Trial

Since 1996, Penn Mock Trial (PMT) has traveled around the nation to compete in some of the most prestigious mock trial tournaments — providing outlets for future lawyers, actors, debaters, and public speakers to refine their craft. PMT also hosts two of its own tournaments annually — welcoming thousands of collegiate and high school mock trial competitors to Penn's historic West Philadelphia campus. PMT's recent accomplishments include a Trial-by-Combat Play-In winner (Katie Volpert '24), several Nationals appearances, and five of its members being selected by Penn to speak at graduation in just the past four years (Giancarlo Cabeza '22, Gabrielle Cabeza '22, Nicholas Robert Hamilton '23, Katie Volpert '24, and Anthony Wong '25).
