Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institutes accelerates discoveries to benefit human health. As a member of the National Institutes of Health Clinical and Translational Science Award Network, the institute provides resources, collaboration opportunities, services, workforce training, education and tools to help translate new research findings into tangible health benefits that improve the lives of those in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and beyond. Penn State is already a leader in clinical expertise, intellectual aptitude and innovative research. The Clinical and Translational Science Institute is the central infrastructure to catalyze discoveries, facilitate collaboration, build interdisciplinary teams, share tools and technologies, provide training and education for the future clinical and translational workforce and fund new discoveries. The institute fosters an environment that allows research discoveries to quickly and efficiently develop into health benefits.
