Penn State FinTech Group

FinTech Group is focused on educating students interested in pursuing careers in FinTech or related industries by inviting and interviewing industry professionals, hosting educational presentations, conducting real-world projects/case studies, and developing relationships with Penn State alumni and company recruiters. Organization meetings mainly consist of collaborative talks surrounding notable news events and educational presentations designed to increase understanding of general topics such as the different verticals within FinTech. Additionally, meetings occasionally include either virtual or in-person talks with industry professionals as well as team-based case studies and projects. Due to the fact that FinTech sits at the intersection of two major industries; finance and technology, this organization is open to a wide variety of students from a diverse set of colleges and backgrounds.
