Penn Procurement Services

Procurement Services, a department within Penn's Division of Finance, is responsible for overseeing approximately $1 billion of University spend. In alignment with the Penn's strategic framework, Procurement Services offers the following core functions: - Developing, implementing, and managing innovative procurement solutions to bring optimal efficiency and value to the full source-to-pay process; Sourcing and negotiating favorable procurement outcomes by leveraging the scale of Penn’s spending to achieve best-value results; - Negotiating and executing contracts that support the business of the University while sufficiently mitigating risk; - Managing supplier relationships to ensure that University buyers’ (faculty, staff, and students) needs are met; and, - Delivering positive impact in the areas of economic inclusion, environmental sustainability, and responsible supply chain management
