The Pensions Infrastructure Platform (PiP) is the infrastructure investment platform that has been specifically developed to facilitate long term investment into UK infrastructure by pension schemes. We are a unique platform as we have been set up for pension schemes by pension schemes.
We enjoy the backing of a group of leading UK pension schemes, our founding investors, who have helped to establish us or invest through us. As a result, PiP is able to offer its investors a degree of alignment and transparency that cannot be found in the traditional asset management sector and which is tailored to pension scheme needs.
PiP is open to all UK pension schemes and any pension scheme that decides to invest through us will enjoy the same terms as our founding investors.
PiP aims to invest a minimum of £2 billion into UK infrastructure of which over £1 billion is committed already through our indirect investment programme, which includes an investment into the Thames Tideway Tunnel project. PiP is now focused on direct investments into UK infrastructure through our Multi-Strategy Infrastructure Fund.
