Pentadata is a technology platform that provides financial data. We bridge the gap between financial institutions and consumer apps by safely accessing and porting consumer financial data. Pentadata grew out of a collaboration between the largest payments companies, banks, merchants, and advertising companies. We realized that working together, we could provide more data choice and more data security for consumers. What resulted was the first financial data platform in North America that can access essentially all bank accounts and credit cards in a reliable and secure way. Since our start in 2018, our approach to accessing and porting data has been to value honesty, transparency, and security above everything else. We always adhere to stringent technical standards and best practices aligned with the twelve major North American financial institutions.
