Peoli is an apparel brand built on the principles of sustainable living through sourcing organic raw material, honouring indigenous skills and creating livelihood for artisans in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
We build handcrafted products for customers with discerning taste who value the unique appearance, organic origins and premium craftsmanship in our work.
Working with around 60 artisans, our mission is to provide support, training and sustenance to the women artisans of the Kumaon region and bring dignity to their lives.
We were selected as part of the Upaya Livelihood Accelerator Program cohort in 2019. We have also been part of the Industry Disruptor Bootcamp on Sustainable Fashion in 2020 organized by UN Women and DO School Berlin.
With an international presence in eight countries across the world and a loyal customer base in India, Peoli has been awarded the World Crafts council Award of excellence for Handicrafts in the South Asia Pacific region and also the Lexus Design Award for Textile Design in Jan 2020, India's Best Design Award in Oct 2020.
