We are a not-for-profit retrofit service in North West England, offering clear, independent advice and support to help plan, procure and deliver householder retrofit projects to a high standard.
Supported by community energy co-operative Carbon Co-op, our aim is to help more householders to retrofit their properties. We were established as an independent Community Benefit Society and capitalised by a successful community share offer in 2021. We have been trading independently since January 2022.
As well as delivering householder retrofit services, we offer contractor training and carry out consultancy work for community energy organisations, educational institutions, and local authorities around the UK. Our software tool, Home Retrofit Planner, is used by a range of community energy organisations across the UK to support the delivery of more and better retrofit.
