People's Action for Development (PAD) is committed to improving the lives and livelihoods of Adivasi people and other tribal minorities in Assam, northeast India. Our work covers three key themes:
Education- Improving literacy, access and participation in a full 12 years of primary and secondary education for all.
Climate Change- Increasing the capacity and resilience of local communities to the impacts of climate change.
Social Justice: Addressing inequality and disadvantage for Adivasi and tribal people in Assam.
