About People's Palace Projects

A subsidiary of Queen Mary University of London, People’s Palace Projects is an arts research centre that brings a diverse range of artists, activists, academics and audiences together for social transformation. We are based in the Drama Department at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and undertake projects in the UK and around the world in partnership with researchers and arts organisations. Our mission is to address social injustices and human rights issues by enabling people who live in the margins of societies - indigenous people, residents of favelas and peripheries and vulnerable communities - to experience, promote and advocate for changes locally and globally through the power of the arts and culture.
