PepGene is an immune-oncology (IO) company that operates in both the US and China. PepGene utilizes novel computational algorithms and drug delivery technology to create neoantigen-based therapeutics which empower human immune system to efficiently eradicate cancer. PepGene is motivated by a wild range of unmet medical needs in the oncology field. Although existing target and immune-oncology therapies have significantly improved the clinical outcome, the majority of cancer patients do not respond to any types of clinical IO treatments or combinations. Thus, new targets and novel therapies are desperately needed. Inspired by the uniqueness of the profile of tumor-specific antigens, also termed as neoantigens, in individual patients, we aim at building a truly personalized IO therapeutic strategy that potently and safely targets and eliminates cancer.
