Menopause is essentially the 365th day since the last menstrual cycle. The transition to this day can be as long as10 years, and during these 10 years a woman can experience multiple symptoms directly related to the changes in her hormones. "Hot flashes" seem to get the most hype, but there are a multitude of other symptoms that women experience that may be lesser known, and, truthfully, very frightening. These symptoms may include: Brain Fog, Insomnia, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, Hair Thinning and Loss, Joint Pain, Weight Gain Around the Abdomen, Palpitations and Dizziness, and MANY MORE. Peri & Pause was established to address these issues and assist women through this new phase of their lives.
