Since 2005, Perlman Clinic has been providing quality primary care in San Diego. Our primary and urgent care providers have a range of backgrounds, specializing in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Integrative Medicine and Preventive Medicine.
We won’t pretend to be a “tech” firm because that is not what we want to be. We want you, our patient, to rediscover the comfort of what was once a visit to the doctor’s office. We strive to be your medical home. We want to provide outstanding care in a comfortable environment that embraces technology.
Our primary care providers do not have quotas to see a minimum number of patients per day
Nor do they have their compensation tied to “efficiency” or “productivity”
Rather, our providers are encouraged to spend the time necessary with you, the patient, to ensure you are receiving quality care
We generally pre-schedule 2 patients per hour per primary care provider, whereas many practices often will schedule 3-5 patients per hour. Although exam times vary from patient-to-patient, the fact that the number of patients scheduled is reduced allows our providers more time to be caring and gracious.
