PermissionTV

PermissionTV was a media technology company that empowered media brands and video content owners to create one-to-one relationships with their audience. Their internet video publishing platform was used by many organizations to build profitable on-demand broadband TV audiences. Media companies used PermissionTV to configure and manage their own branded Internet TV channels and monetize their audience through ad-supported, pay-per-view and subscription-based services. PermissionTV was also known as one of the very first HD streaming services, and also created the first RIVA (rich interactive video ad) which formed the foundation for many interactive video ads utilized today. In January 2010, due to pressure from free video platforms and a crowded streaming platform market, PermissionTV rebranded as Visible Gains. Visible Gains extended its business beyond just providing a platform for publishing interactive Web video, but also provided professional services to help marketers reach desired audiences and measure the effectiveness of their B2B campaigns.
