About Perry County Economic Development Authority

PCEDA was established in 1973. The Authority is a quasi-public entity whose 21 member Board of Directors is appointed by the County Commissioners; however it has no political affiliation. The mission of PCEDA is as follows: “Acting as a steward, the Authority will facilitate economic development that preserves and enhances the quality of life for Perry County.” PCEDA is actively pursuing an asset based economic development plan which focuses on promoting the existing assets of Perry County such as Cultural, Historical Recreational and Agricultural initiatives. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Board meetings are typically held the second Thursday of the month at 8 a.m. at the Perry Business and Tourism Center in New Bloomfield. If the schedule is to change, a notice will be published in advance in the local newspapers. Board meetings are public and open to all.
