The Personal Assist Mobility Unit (PAMU) is a Final Year Project done by our team from Technical Engineer Diploma in Automotive Engineering for St Luke's hospital.
Initially, this device was built for a hospital setting for nurses to achieve zero effort of pushing a wheelchair, but due to the adaptability of our design, it can also carry other forms of load such as:
• Transporting heavy parcels
• Pushing luggage in an airport
• Taking a wheelchair patient on a long stroll in the park
Putting the nurses at risk of spinal or muscle injuries is devastating, hence this design comes into place.
