By qualification, he, a medical doctor wished to explore the preventive and promotive aspects of medicine (the positive healthcare systems) as against practicing the curative pathological treatments, which he was trained in. He was soon accompanied by his wife, Dr. Shobha Kaul who gave up her wishful career in medicine to support her husband's endeavors and take the brand to heights after his unfortunate demise in the year 1996.
