Personality Type in Depth

Established in 2010, Personality Type in Depth publishes scholarship that bridges the gap between psychological type and depth psychology, exploring the interactions of the conscious and unconscious elements of the psyche by identifying their expression through the eight functions. It is the first and only journal created for this purpose. Drawing on the work of Jung scholars like Marie-Louise von Franz, James Hillman, John Beebe, and Lenore Thomson, it enhances understanding of the sixteen MBTI® types by presenting contemporary thought, case studies, and discussion that inform the personal and cultural issues of the day. Articles undergo rigorous review and are edited by professional editors and scholars in the fields of depth psychology and psychological type. In keeping with the journal’s mission to promote research and education relating to depth typology theory and practice, subscription is free, and all issues are accessible to the public online.
