Our team combines a diverse range of research expertise with the capacity to provide ongoing research into every aspect of games culture, game design, and gamification. We have the resources and networks to offer the insight, assistance and contacts to help support a start-up hub for game development in Western Australia and kick start the industry in Perth.
We aim to create a research lab that brings academics and industry experts together to enhance Perth’s emerging games industry.
Our initial project is to develop a framework for measuring the social impact of games. This framework will allow game producers, peers, and the public to assess what kinds of experiences are offered by certain games.
