After recently adopting a dog, we realised that there was very little information regarding what establishments permit dogs. After speaking to other dog owners it became apparent that there was a need for easily accessible information about pet friendly locations in WA. With this in mind we created a Facebook Page where businesses and pet owners can promote pet friendly enterprises throughout Perth and Western Australia. The page quickly took off and became very popular. We received so many emails asking for recommendations for restaurants, cafes and accommodation that we thought a website would be a great idea. A one-stop shop for pet friendly people to search for pet friendly places to take their animals. A few weeks later petfriendlyperth.com.au was born.
Our aim is to provide a directory of services for pet owners, educate businesses on the benefits of being pet friendly, and provide useful information about pet ownership.
