Welcome! I’m Peter Rowland, and I’m passionate about connecting people with nature and empowering them to make a difference. As an award-winning wildlife writer and photographer, I believe in the power of storytelling and visual imagery to inspire positive change. My journey began in the woodlands of England, where I developed a deep love for the natural world. Since then, I’ve explored diverse landscapes across Australia, capturing the beauty of wildlife through my lens and sharing my experiences through magazine articles and books. I’ve had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and insights through various avenues, including: ~ Authoring/co-authoring 14 books on Australian wildlife, including the “Best Zoological Series” Whitley Award winner. ~ Writing engaging articles for Australian Geographic magazine, connecting readers with the wonders of nature. ~ Delivering captivating wildlife presentations to community groups and schools, fostering environmental awareness and appreciation. But my passion goes beyond sharing knowledge. I believe in empowering individuals to take positive action in conservation and providing them with the skills to make meaningful change. My own journey has been one of transformation, embracing holistic well-being and ecotherapy. I’ve discovered that being within, and having a passion for, nature uplifts the soul, and I’m dedicated to sharing this path to purpose with others.
