Petropak Limited (Petropak) is a new entrant in the Tanzanian Market as a manufacturer, dealer and marketer of Metal Drums and Plastic storage apparatus.
The company was inactive until recently, when it was taken over by Mr. Satish Kumar, Investor and Director of Petro and Borderlink Groups, in an attempt to expand their base in the country and get involved in the industrial drive supported by the current administration.
The Company aims to provide an alternative to the food and agricultural sector which has not seen any major innovations in recent years, thereby making Tanzanian food exports globally acceptable and more presentable.
In addition to the Metal factory being set up, a Plastic industry is expected to be started by early 2022 and production is expected to begin during the 1st Quarter of 2022. Under the scope, it is expected to cater not just the food industry but also the lubricant and fuel industry which has a constant demand for the product.
