Pex Group is based in New Germany Pinetown – In our 3300 square meter property with free standing premises of 1497 square meters of building Our core business is the manufacture, re-manufacturers and supply of hydraulic components. We pride ourselves on the repair to all hydraulic cylinders, pumps (piston, gear and vane) We have a very comprehensive pump room and are able to repair all types of piston pumps. We specialize in the repair of all types of cast iron gear pumps and hold a large amount of stock on aluminium gear/piston pumps and spares. Some of our larger customers include the Billiton group (South 32), Mondi, Sappi, PG Bison Group Hulamin and Karbochem. Pex is also the official distributors of Commercial Shearing/Parker and Eaton in Durban Our fully fitted 1050 square meter workshop includes: A machine shop including 4 x lathes 3M – 1M BC + DRO, cylindrical grinder, surface grinder, universal milling machine + DRO, radial drill, 100T press and 4M honing bench and more. Pump Room complete with 180KW VSD Computerized test facility producing a comprehensive computer generated test report – which is the only known such facility in KZN. Incorporated too is a motor testing facility complete with pneumatic breaking system. Fully Equipped boiler making shop, Fully equipped cylinder shop including various test benches and auto system and 4m Honing Bench Stores – holding large stocks of spares, plus a general wide range of units and spares imported directly including Danfoss, Sundstrand, Rexroth, Parker Linde and Eaton. Other features include filtered spray booth, wash bay draining to grease pit.
