Since 1972, the nursery of the family Grootscholten is the address for quality cut phalaenopsis. Jan Grootscholten (the founder) started in 1972 with 500 m2 cut phalaenopsis. This expanded to 4500 m2. In the year 1992, Walter Grootscholten took over the helm and the growth was put up in 2006 with a size of 12,600 m2. Walter Grootscholten's orchid nursery stands for high quality and a constant supply so that we can provide to the satisfaction of our beautiful, fresh phalaenopsis. This is achieved with the use of modern technology so that we can provide quality year-round. By crossing and good selection of plant material along with our years of experience, we have been able to achieve the current quality and quantity.
