PHARMACELL S.A. Animal Health Care & Nutrition is a veterinary company, founded in 2009. Its mission is to successfully meet the growing needs of the veterinary industry, while its vision is to provide diversified, value-added products and services, in both the pet and the productive animal sector.
The company has established a national sales network, with distribution channels of vet clinics, the livestock units of all animals, as well as the feed shops of both productive animals and pets, serving more than 1,500 customers nationwide. The headquarter facility of 4,500 m2, includes a Logistics center, a wholesale store of veterinary drugs, the production line of feed supplements in large packaging and the laboratory to produce special supplements of smaller packaging, in both solid and liquid form, mainly for individual administration.
The company represents international brands and sells, exclusively in Greece, their range of specialized products.
Pharmacell operates in the light of veterinary science and therefore, participates in research programs of University institutions.
In the MASTIN program, implemented under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research & Technology, in collaboration with the School of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Chemistry of AUTH University. The program entails the production of an intramammary preparation, without the use of antibiotics, for distribution both in Greece and internationally.
In the AMNOSELECT program, in collaboration with the University of Ioannina, the International University of Greece (Department of Animal Production) and the University of Thessaly (Department of Veterinary Medicine). The program examines the "Development and implementation of modern methods for sex selection in sheep, with the aim of maintaining and increasing the livestock and productivity of indigenous breeds of high genetic value."
