PTC is founded within the walls of the medieval city of Famagusta by Andreas Karoullas. Andreas Karoullas was born in 1921, in Famagusta, occupied by Turkish troops. He was among the first pharmacists, first in the medieval city of Famagusta within the walls and after 1958 in the new city that was created next to the old one, he started to make his own medicines. With its establishment, PTC introduces in Cyprus the first pharmaceutical preparations from Europe.
-August 1974
In August 1974, along with 200,000 other refugees, the company lost its physical headquarters, abandoned everything and tried to reactivate in free Cyprus. After the first difficult years following the Turkish invasion, the company with hard work manages to find its place again among the important pharmaceutical companies of Cyprus.
-1990s
The company is moving to new privately owned offices.
-2017
The development of the company continues, with the consequence of the representation of big companies abroad. PTC is expanding the existing warehouse and doubles its storage space. In addition, PTC created a new training and presentation space.
