Pharmacy Interstate Compact (PIC): Multi-State Pharmacist Licensure

The Pharmacy Interstate Compact (PIC) is a policy-centered initiative focused on enabling multi-state licensure for pharmacists through collaborative, state-level advocacy. PIC exists to keep pharmacists in charge — of where they practice and who they serve. We aim to reduce regulatory fragmentation, strengthen workforce mobility, and support patient-centered care across state lines. By working with boards, legislators, and healthcare leaders, PIC seeks to establish a modern licensure framework that reflects the evolving role of pharmacy in today’s healthcare landscape.
