Pharmaceutical Sciences Laboratory (PSL) is part of the Faculty of Sciences and Engineering at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.
PSL has been set up to develop and carry out high-level research and education in pharmaceutical sciences, both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We also foster internal and external research collaborations and have vivid research exchange especially for the young scientists (lab internships, master's projects and so forth).
The central themes of the research activities within the PSL revolve around computer-aided drug design and development of pharmaceuticals, nanomedicines (including diagnostic agents) as well as research on new drug manufacturing technologies.
