Phashtag was a startup that did image recognition to track brand affinities across social media. Founded out of the Next 36 in 2013. The (extremely competitive) market of social media analytics simply wasn't ready for the enormous amount of data we were processing, and in 2014 the team used their backgrounds in machine learning and entrepreneurship to pursue other great opportunities.
