The Primary Health Care Performance Initiative (PHCPI) was a partnership dedicated to transforming the global state of primary health care, starting with better measurement. It brought together partners including the World Bank, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, Global Fund, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ariadne Labs and Results for Development to help create a world where strong primary health care is the reality, not the exception, for every person, family and community and advocate for more and better investments on the road to Health for All.
With pride and gratitude, PHCPI partnership concluded operations at the end of 2022. All of PHCPI’s measurement and improvement resources remain available as global public goods at ImprovingPHC.org, along with more information on PHCPI’s legacy and impact.
