Philafeed is a small-scale black soldier fly farm that is committed to sustainable food and feed production. Our approach emphasizes simplicity, adaptability, and community involvement. We design our facility to minimize waste, reduce emissions, and prioritize ecological sustainability.
At Philafeed, we're all about turning waste into gold - or rather, black soldier fly larvae and nutrient-rich frass. Using the magic of black soldier fly technology, we transform organic waste into protein-rich biomass that can be used in animal feed or fertilizer. It's a win-win for the environment and our furry and feathered friends! Black soldier fly technology is even recognized as a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) unicorn, meaning it tackles multiple sustainability challenges at once.
